On today's episode Josh and Lyndsay talk about their new circus and dance show designed for virtual reality, their latest trip to San Diego and Las Vegas where they saw The Miss Behave Game Show and Piff The Magic Dragon, drama in the industry press about the Cirque De Demain Festival, and new performing circus animals bans in the UK. They also travel to the East Village to interview circus educator and legend Hovey Burgess. Hovey taught 100 semesters at NYU as well as at Julliard,  Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Clown College, Sarah Lawrence College, and Circo Dell'Arte; he's also performed on stage with Circus Flora, Hunt Bros Circus, Clyde Beatty-Cole Brothers Circus, Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, Electric Circus, Patterson Brothers Circus and Toledo Zoo Wild Animal Show. Also on today's episode, Josh and Lyndsay interview Peter Harding, Suzanne Cleary, and Jonny Reed who make up the hand-tapping and Irish step dancing viral sensation, Up and Over It. They talk about their time on Broadway with Riverdance, creating a viral video that launched a variety career, and about devising new and unusual types of performance. They also sit down for an interview with Samantha Smith, who was a lead character and the contortionist in the Australian version of Hideaway Circus's SLUMBER. We talk with her about life starting in Perth and performing career in London as well as how to survive and be successful in the circus industry with out going to an elite level training program.
